Want a flawless looking skin?? This is what you need girls, Foundation. Using foundation will make you look less 'cakey' than using a powder, which most of powder will give you a 'cakey' effect after several hours. So, to avoid the 'cakey' look start using a foundation, but be sure to look for a foundation that is not to heavy on your skin because it can clog your pores and causes acne. This foundation from Bourjois is a light foundation which it give you enough coverage. It doesn't look like you're wearing a mask, after you put it on. Even though the foundation said that its light and wont clog your pores, be sure to always clean your face afterwards and it has to be really really clean.

My Opinion about the Product :

I like this foundation for a daily use, because it is so light and doesn't feel heavy on your skin, heavy by mean like you are wearing lots of make up on your face. Its light also blends very well onto your skin, which provides you a very natural finish. The scent of the product is so so so good, but for those of you who don't like any scent in your foundation then you might not like this. But its not like the scent stay all day long though. You can only smell it when you apply it on your skin, after that you wont smell a thing. 

How i like to apply the foundation? I use two ways to apply my foundation in daily routine.

1.  Brush - I like to use a brush (Foundation brush) to apply the foundation on my skin, I put on pump on the back of my hand then with my index finger, take some of the foundation and put it on my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. After that blend and smooth the foundation with the brush. 

2. Finger - When i don't have my brush around or too lazy to use a brush, i apply the foundation just with my finger. First same thing, one pump on the back of my hand, put it all over my face (cheeks, forehead, chin, nose) with my index finger then use three of your finger (index, middle and ring) blend the foundation by tapping it lightly onto your skin.

STORM - SLEEK

Another Eye Shadow review and this one is a brand from the UK. This palette contains 12 different colors from neutral to darker colors, with the combination of shimmer and matte eye shadow colors. Lets start with the packaging, the packaging its just a simple one, its a hard case palette. There's nothing bad about the packaging, its sturdy its black and classy. In this palette also comes with the dual sponge applicator. This brand carries on six different eye palettes, and the one i'm reviewing is called the STORM palette. I notice this brand from one of the UK magazine and many people also said that its a good product.

The Claims:

The Storm i-Divine palette comprises of 12 strong and rich shades perfect for accentuating the eyes and creating natural looks.

We've recently given our i-Divines a makeover! The outer packaging has been updated and the way the eye shadows are pressed are different. They are now pressed flat instead of the original waffle print.

My Opinion About the Product:

When this palette arrived, i cant wait to use it cause i think it will turns out great and i'm right. This eye shadow does what it claimed. The colors are very vivid and pigmented, In this palette you can create the most amazing shimmering eyes ever !! Because it really give you the shimmery effect without making you look ridiculously glittery. Most of the colors in the palette are shimmery just three of them which are matte colors. This palette also provides you the colors to create neutral to dramatic look depends on how you like it.

As you can see the swatches on the picture, the colors below are the more neutral, soft colors but shimmery and the colors on top of it are the more divine and vivid colors for more dramatic looks. You can see how pigmented and gorgeous the colors are. (the colors swatches are in the same direction as the colors in the palettes)

How i like to use it this palette on a daily look are, First, I apply the soft gold color (Neutral, 2 from left) all over the lid using an eye shadow brush. Second, I apply the dark shimmery brown color (Dark, 1 from left) on the outer corner to the crease making a 'V' shape with a small dome brush and last but not least i used the matte soft brown color (Neutral, 3 from left) to soften up the colors using the Tapered Blending Brush. The very last thing is highlighting my brow bone just using my ring finger with the lightest color from the palette.

For, night time look i usually go for a more dramatic look and i used the same techniques just different colors selection. This is a Must Try item for those of you who like shimmers, cause it really gives you the real shimmer.

BRUSHES !!

There are a lot of different type of brushes to do your make up, there is one for blending, one to apply the eye shadow, one to apply concealer and foundation and much more. So, this time i will let you know based on my opinion the 4 basic brushes you will need to apply your eye make up. The Brushes i will show you today are featuring three different Brands, two of the brands you can easily find it. The Brand i'm featuring are Masami Shouko, Armando Caruso and Urban Decay. Lets start with the brushes.

1. First Brush is a shadow brush from Urban Decay, i always use this brush to apply my eye shadow all over my eye lid. the bristles on this brush is really tight and soft. which makes it very easy to control. when i use this brush, i use a patting motion to apply the eye shadow, so that it really sits on your lid. this brush is more pricey though, but you can always find another brush that is cheaper and have a good quality as well,  cause now there is a lot of brand who sell brushes with a more affordable price. 

2. Second Brush is a small dome brush from Masami Shouko. I like to use this brush to put a darker eye shadow tone on the outer corner of my eyes to divine my eyes. I use it by creating a C shape on the outer corner, to create a more dramatic look on it by deepen the color on the crease. This brush is the perfect one, if you really want a perfect shape on your outer corner, cause you will have more control on it and also you can create any shaped you want.

3. Angled Shadow brush, from Armando Caruso, this is a 2 in 1 brush. Because you can use it for your eyeliner or eyebrows. But i use this one as my eyeliner brush. When sometimes i don't want a very black eyeliner look, i always switch by using a black eye shadow instead and i apply it with this brush, This brush is a very precise brush. It makes it so easy to apply my eye shadow as an eyeliner, very easy to work with and the bristles also didn't felt like its poking your eyes. you can also use this brush with a gel liner.

4. Last but not least is my favorite brush from all, its the Tapered Blending Brush from Masami Shouko, This is a fluffy with a long bristles brush with a tapered tip. This brush ideally, shaped to apply, contour, highlight and blend colors on the crease of the eye. I personally use this brush more to blend colors on the crease, i love blending colors with this brush, cause its really do really makes the color blends well and give your eye make up a really soft touch. 

So, the step you need to follow are. First Apply your eye shadow using the Shadow Brush (NUMBER 1), then create a shape on your outer corner and darken your crease with a Small Dome Brush (NUMBER 2), after that use a neutral color such as beige, or any skin tone color to neutralize the color to create a softer look, or to soften the dark eye shadow so it didn't look harsh, with a Tapered Blending Brush (NUMBER 4), then last but not least apply your eyeliner (eye shadow for or gel liner) with a Angled Shadow Brush (NUMBER 5). Then you'll have the look that you desire.

SUPER FAT EYE MARKER - NYX

Eyeliner, is the one thing that will create you a very different look. But, its a very tricky one to use, to make a real gorgeous sexy look, you need lots of control with it. Lets start, Packaging. Nothing really special with it but this is a bigger eyeliner size than the usual one. It literally look like a board marker, but nothing i could complain about the packaging.

CLAIMS :

Here’s a real magic marker: The extra wide felt tip eye liner is perfect for creating a dramatic cat-eye look. The eye marker application is smooth and the striking results are long-lasting and smudge-proof.

My Opinion  about the product :

I used to have a hard time using eyeliner, i never got it right. using eyeliner is like drawing on your eyes, and you have to be really precise to achieve a great look, cause if you don't you will look totally ridiculous. The way you draw your eyeliner on your eyes, really make a huge difference. I can never skip the eyeliner part. I used to have a hard time and kind of feel lazy to do it, cause if you messed up, you have to start all over again. But, practice make perfect. Now i have more control with eyeliner, thanks to the Super FAT marker. 

I know some people can got more control with a skinnier eyeliner, but i personally feel more comfortable and have more control with a bigger eyeliner like this one. So, for sure i really like the control i got from this liner. But, the color that it gave is not black enough for me, so every time after i apply the liner on my lid i always re-applied it with another liquid liner which is blacker, so the the line i apply with the super FAT liner was a guideline for me to applied another liner so it will be more precise and vibrant for sure. But yes as the claims said it is long lasting, cause if i wear a smokey look i just used this liner by it self, and it doesn't smudge.

SWATCHES

After all, i just have problem with the blackness, which is not black enough. As you can see from the swatches on the left, it  is not vibrant at all, in fact i swatch that back and forth for several times, but i like it because again the control that it gave to me. Also, the tip of the 'Marker' is a little bit flabby after you use it for several time. But, for those of you who is getting a hard time using a liner, try the Super Fat Marker by NYX maybe you will be better with eyeliner. This Super Fat Marker cost IDR 100.000,- in the USA it cost $10.00.

NYX GLITTER POLISH !!

Quick Review about the NYX nail polish, i discover this product about a week ago. This are the Glitter nail polish by NYX. I'm actually on a hunt for glittery nail polishes, then i found this. So, i give it a try. The packaging of the product is the same as the other nail polishes, but i like the design of the bottle. The square and the details on it just make it look so classy, plus the glitters inside it is very pretty. The applicator is also very easy to use, its quite wide when you press the applicator against your nail, which make it slide on perfectly.

The 2 colors i owned : (From Left) Creme Glitter & Disco Inferno.

I cant find the claim about this product from their website, they just have the matte one in their page.

Then my personal opinion about this product is, I really like this glitter nail polish. I like it best when you top it off with a matte base color (which NYX also provides). The first time i used it, i used a matte brownish pink color then top it of with 'Disco Inferno' from NYX, i don't have the picture, but trust me it look so so good. also with a dark blue as a base, it makes your nails look fabulous. But, you have to use two coat to get a good amount of glitters, but if you don't like too much sparkles then one coat is enough. The price of this nail polish is very affordable, it cost IDR 70.000,-. for those of you who lives outside Indonesia i don't know the price for sure but the matte polish cost around $4.00.

MAX FACTOR - MASTERPIECE COLOR PRECISION SHADOW

Another Cream shadow review for today, This is from Max Factor. First as usual, Packaging. The packaging i should say, its very similar with a lipgloss. It is a very simple packaging, nothing special really. But for me, what make this tube look pretty is because of the color of the cream shadow, you can see how gorgeous the colors are. The applicator for this product is a sponge tip, not like the Yves Rocer's tip (See my previous cream shadow review from Yves Rocher).

THE CLAIMS:

Masterpiece Colour Precision Eyeshadows from Max Factor offer subtle colour and precise eye framing with the precision applicator tip, creating a soft and natural look. My Opinion About The Product:

This product actually come out in more than 4 different colors, but here in Indonesia i just found 4 colors. First color i bought was Golden Green, I bought it first because i don't have any green cream shadow. I tried it on and i like it, the texture of the product is so creamy just like what they claimed. Also, its a good base or you can even use it by it self. I have used it several times and it doesn't smudge. But again for those of you who have oily eyelid always use a primer before it, just in case. The color selection of this product is very usable, which you can create a very natural to strong night time look.

Here are the swatches of the Max Factor cream shadow, you can see how vibrant and creamy texture from the product. This product is very easy to work with, the tip is also very precise. Then, the most interesting thing is the Price. For those of you who live in Indonesia you can get this in  any Max Factor booth, for only IDR 75.000,- This is a lot cheaper than the Yves Rocher's cream shadow. So, for those of you who want to try cream shadow, you should try this one first. Then decide whether you like it or not. Try it and Comments down below.
